Luke Trahan
Coach Luke grew up in Houston, throwing his first no hitter at age 10. While being a 2 way player (pitcher, 3rd base, and outfield) at The Woodlands College Park high school, he earned all state honors as a designated hitter as well as the #11 ranked pitcher in Texas in his 2018 class. As a pitcher at Dallas Baptist University he threw 94-98mph. After 4 years rotating roles between starting and closing at DBU, he transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue his masters degree. Throughout his 5 year collegiate career, he helped his team to 3 conference championship titles, 4 regionals, and 2 super regionals. Post college, Luke played professional baseball for a short time in American Association for the Chicago Dogs.
He is passionate about helping kids learn the game from an early age while also having a ton of fun. Luke hopes to pursue a strength and conditioning certification as well in the near future to incorporate that into his baseball coaching style.
